Dear Members of the Machine Knitting Guild,
I want to give a great big thank you to everyone who made these amazing shawls. They are absolutely beautiful, and surpassed my expectations, (although I should have known if Barbie was involved in a project they would be professional and fabulous). I can’t thank you all enough. Our patients are going to LOVE them. I’m excited to give them out at Christmas.

God bless you,

Linh would like items for children. Project Linus is accepting baby blankets, child size and teen age blankets of specified sizes. Do not use metallic yarn, wool, or fuzzy yarn. Linh’s still looking for places to donate.

Below are recommended sizes for Project Linus Blankets:

      • Baby (36″ x 20″)
      • Child (45″ x 48″)
      • Teen (40″ x 60″)

During this pandemic she doesn’t mind driving around San Diego County to collect donations. To donate please contact her at linh@mkgsd.com so that you can arrange a time and date. Once an appointment has been arranged, please place your donations in a bag or box and leave it outside your front door.

She will also be sending baby hats/beanies to the Scripps Mercy Chula Vista hospital. These baby hats need to fit normal to large babies. No preemie baby hats please. Same rules apply with the yarn.
